With the regulation of national policies, the improvement of people's living standards and the enhancement of environmental awareness, the original paint coating technology has been gradually imporved, and the "paint to powder" has become the consensus of application in the coating industry. Among them, the powder coating process has become a new coating process developed rapidly in recent years.
 
In fact, as early as the 1940s, some countries began to study powder coating technology, but the progress was slow. It was not until the invention of electrostatic powder spraying by Sims Company in France in 1962 that powder coating was adopted in production. At that time, electrostatic powder coating technology was mainly used for metal surface coating due to high temperature and some other reasons.
 
In the late 1990s, with the development of powder coatings and spraying equipment, it is possible to apply electrostatic powder caoting technology to wood surfaces. With the increasing environmental requirements, exquisite appearance requirements, material durability requirements for home decoration products, electrostatic powder coating technology has gradually entered the vision of the customized home furnishing industry since the second half of 2020.
