Powder coatings are based on polymer resin systems, combined with curatives, pigments, leveling agents, flow modifiers, and other additives. These ingredients are melt mixed, cooled, and grind into a uniform powder similar to baking flour.
MDF powder coating is 100% solid content. There is no solvent in the formula of MDF powder coating. As we all know solvent is the core source of VOCs. This is why MDF powder coating do not have any VOCs.
